This turn Table is very very good. The only reason I give It 4 stars is because my stylus is bad. I will contact Overstock and see if they will replace the stylus. If they wont, I will still keep this turn table, because the rest of the table runs great. The reason I know stylus bad is i had it checked out by a audio pro. My knowledge is limited on these matters.
We've only had this turntable for a week or so, so we can't write a long-term review but thus far: Sound quality is good. Given the price point, we aren't talking about the Most Amazing Turntable Ever, but it's solid, sounds good, and is a great entry into playing vinyl. Putting the turn table together was easy. The directions are clearly written, and the parts clearly labeled. It took perhaps 20 minutes from unpacking to playing a record. Adjusting the counterbalance took some time, but I suspect that's just me, as a neophyte turntable user.
This is my first turntable. I was looking for something basic, no frills, that gets the job done well. This one has totally delivered. The sound is crisp and I've had no problems with it at all. If you are an entry level vinyl enthusiast, don't forget to buy speakers, as this includes none. I've been completely happy to grow my record collection with this purchase :)
It's a pretty good Turntable, with 3 speeds 33, 45 & 75 This product is not top of the line but for the price it gets the job done, it also has these built in speakers with it's own separate volume control that for their size it has good sound, not that you can start a party with, but if you wanted to stream your Vynils in your man cave or home office they are just perfect. It also does not come with a cover. Witch I would have liked, and the plate is way smaller than conventional rotating plates. With that being said, Happy shopping and enjoy.
