I have spent the past several hours trying to get my tv to recognize my hd set top box and now my xbox one isn't recognized after it has been working perfectly fine since I have owned it.
I was expecting the headphones to fit comfortably around my ears (like turtle beaches) however they are small and barely cover my whole ear. I have not used nor have use for the ear buds, I own too many pairs already. The pop filter's clamp rests at an angle due to its design, not sure why it was made like that but it isn't bothersome because it has an adjustable stand to be positioned in whatever fancy loop you want it to be. The mic quality is above average and is the sole purpose of the rating. Definetly a great *starter* set for anyone who does youtube videos or any type or recording, also THIS MIC IS SUPER SENSITIVE! You will need to turn sensitivity down if at all possible; even with the pop filter, while in a skype call, my friend heard my dog drinking water 25ft behind me.
I wanted to give this TV a great review, but I cannot. Whenever you go to Netflix and get back out, you will lose the signal source and must go through the set-up steps to get the signal back. Samsung has admitted this is a known problem and are working on a solution. Another issue is with the universal remote and how it controls the TV versus the set-top-box. Whenever you turn the power off for the TV, the STB will power off as well. There is a seperate button for STB power on the remote, so you would assume that only that button would control the STB power. That is not the case. Samsung states that this is normal functionality of the remote, but I don't want to kill the STB when I power off the TV. This stops my DVR from recording. The picture is great, but I expect that from Samsung since I have several Samsung TV's already. This is my first Smart TV and I have had this model for less than 24 hours, however, and I am less than pleased with it so far.
Installed easily, but back of TV must be flat from one set of mounting holes to the outer edge (either top or bottom) of TV. If using with a wall mount, you use the same screws you already have with your wall mount, which worried me, as I figured it would come with slightly longer screws you could use, to make up for the slight thickness of the added bracket. But it seems plenty tight with the screws that the wall mount already came with, so likely not a concern. Well built and works very well, just as stated. Excellent price and product.
