Installation is fairly straightforward, however, finding the app to install on my android was a little difficult but I worked it out. Cameras are clear and everything works like it should. Love the system on/off keyring. Overall, I think it's a good price and I feel safer at night. May add an additional camera or two.
I just bought this system and I love it. It was simple to setup. I just took the main box(they call it opu) and plugged it in to my home router. Then put the cameras and sensors around my Home. I download the app. Which was a little hard to find because it is called Home8. The system was up in minutes. I can see live cameras at all time of what's going on in my home. Who's there and what their doing. I receive alerts when a sensor is setoff as well as a recorded video of what set it off. Totally recommend!
I bought a small starter set from Amazon and fell in love with this, and so I bought the complete set from Overstock. I had trouble using components from the set from Amazon and the Home8 tech support guy worked with me to try to get it resolved. Although we couldn't resolve all issues, his persistence and patience deserve a medal! Because the components came pre-mated with the controller, you may have issue connecting units from different sets even if you reset the devices. Now I get notified on my phone when something moves in front of my front door, such as a package delivery. I got notified by Home8 before Fedex did. The set up was pretty painless if you are just using the set you buy. If you want to expand, I recommend getting add-on kits instead of buying another set to salvage the parts.
