I bought this printer because I wanted to step up to higher quality print; and have be very satisfied. But, instructions on how to set up the printer for different color management options and different papers is very poor. The user manual need to be rewritten to make it easier to understand because right now it mostly gibberish.
I am a design student at CSU Sacramento, and primarily use this to get homework and projects done. The quality of color that this printer has is really great, at first I had multi purpose paper but that stuff is really not good enough for what I was printing. I changed the paper to colorcopy Hammermill 28lb paper 11x17 and it was a huge difference. Only problem I have with this printer is that wireless network loses connection to the printer a lot. I have an Epson XP-310 and it does not do that. It is very annoying when all of your projects are ready for printing and it takes 1 hour to print them. I would recommend this to anyone needing a fairly small printer for its capabilities that needs to print high quality documents.
This is a brand new HP color laserjet printer I purchased from Overstock. It was a great value as compared to other retailers. This printer has everything that I need, scanner, fax, double-sided scanning and printing, etc. This replaced an old malfunctioning Epson inkjet.
Bought this over a year ago. Prints great pictures I like the DVD label printer part makes nice labels directly on the DVD! (of course you have to buy hub printable DVD's or CD's) once and a while the sheets don't come out to print not that it gets stuck I think I have to somehow clean the rollers so it will grab the paper better, I just hit the button to eject the paper then hit print again that works most of the time. Other than that it;'s a great printer, especially the glossy photo prints.
