I purchased the second one of these and it performs flawlessly only problem I found was the data cables barely reached my hard drives in my full size fantom tower, corsair could've given it an inch more length, but I was able to power four hard drive two ssds and my DVD burner with all the case lights without any power issues, on my new MSI Z170a M7 motherboard with a sixth gen i7 quad core processor @4.5 GHz , 10 led fans and a digital nzxt full color fan controller and haven't even scratched the surface on my power needs, this is a must by for anyone looking to upgrade or build a new custom PC who wants only the best of performance and value with a great reputation as corsair you can't go wrong
This is the 3rd EVGA 700B Bronze I have purchased for three separate computer builds. This thing is a work-horse. I would highly recommend it. I have it running in a Intel i7 4790 with a R9 390 video card and it runs great. I also have it in a HTPC unit with a Xeon processor and another R9 390 card. Both systems run flawlessly and have plenty of power.
This this is everything I wanted. My old power supply was a generic 800 that I got from ebay. When i upgraded to a 980 Ti the computer would randomly shut down. I traced down the problem and the generic PS was to blame. This thing is great - my first fully modular PS.
