I had been looking for a good pocket camera for quite a while. The technology finally allowed this DX100 3 to perform at a level that I don't feel compromised despite its size. I own both Leica and Nikon professional cameras. There are times that I just wanted to put my camera in my pocket. This DX100 serves the purpose. The image quality is no Leica or my pro Nikon. It does give you freedom and good enough pictures for nice spontaneous moments. This is one of the best high end pocket cameras on the market right now. If you don't mind spending a bit more, you would be rewarded with its consistent shot even at low light situations. I save you from all the tech talk, as you can read the specs. The color rendition and image quality are the reasons why I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a good pocket camera.
Bought this camera last summer, This is one of the best purchase ever. The camera is so light and picture quality is amazing. You don't need to carry big DSLR and other accessories. Point and shots are good but in low lighting they are little disappointment. I use this camera indoor and outdoor, quality is good as big DSLR. You get most the manual features. Not a very big fan of touch screen. But that is not just this camera. I don't like any touch screen camera. Pictures are crisp and lighting is never been an issue. Totally recommend to friend and family.
I owned the Fuji X100S and was very very satisfied with that wonderful camera. The reviews have said it all about the X100 cameras. make no doubt about it, Fuji makes cameras for photographers and it listens to them to make improvements that really matter to photography. Now I have the "T" and I couldn't be more pleased. Again, read the rave reviews. You can't go wrong with this little gem. My Leica M is a brilliant camera, but I take my X100T with me far more than my Leica M. Really, the Fuji is that good, that enjoyable, a great everyday camera, a great photographer's camera.
Camera is the best compact camera you can buy. Pictures are sharp, and I can get most of the effects I want compared to my SLR. Camera came in a new factory box but looks like it's the Japanese market version. No English on the box or in the box. That's okay since you can download everything from the internet.
