Well had to replace a bad on board Ethernet port. this was fit the bill. Please note do not turn off the onboard Ethernet/nic in the BIOS of your motherboard as this will disable the Syba NiC= Network Interface Card.
I got this at Costco, followed the setup instructions and got it working, far as I could tell, for a couple of months. It stopped working after a power surge reset my router to factory default and I had to set up the network again. After that, I could extend my network to the SR300 but I could only get local access on the extended network, no internet access. Jason (Concierge #149) walked me patiently through the setup several times, using both my Windows Vista laptop and my wife's ipad, before concluding that the SR300 needed replacement. I'll be doing that and contacting Amped Wireless to walk me through the setup again, since I had such good service the first time. Thanks Jason!
Amped wireless router extender work very well with our previous modem and router. Recently we purchased a new combination router modem and have had trouble connecting on Amped Wireless ever since but Ralphs in customer service was very helpful. He was very patient and tried many different options for me including updating my firmware. My new wireless extender seems to be working. Hopefully it will continue to give us the same satisfactory service as it has in the past
