This product was very easy to set up and came with all of the cables and connections for any imaginable set up (composite, componet and HDMI all included). If you have trouble during setup the Customer Service will help you (i.e. opening ports on your Router if needed to get internet streaming). Once set up you download a free player for MAC or PC and you can watch live TV on any computer that has the Player program installed. You can Pause Live TV on your computer (but you cannot pause live TV on an actual TV set). With purchase of a $12.99 application for Android or I Phone you can view live TV on your smartphone too. There is no "streaming" of shows you record to the device. The recorded file must be transferred to your Smartphone or PC before it can be viewed. There are menu settings to make the transfers occur post recording so they are ready for your viewing pleasure withput much ado. The device also supports UPnP and DLNA so you can stream Media files stored on your computer to the TV set. Very nice product.

  • Wow TV at my vacation home!

Great product and is exactly what I needed, cheaper than other alternatives (SlingBoc, HTPC, etc...). I have two streaming setups at home (Vulkano Pro & Flow) and one remote tv (Vulkano Lava) in another state, so I can watch live TV, change channels and record to DVR from anywhere! Initial setup takes about 15-30min (download and deciding how you want to setup), network routing 1-3hrs. Mobile apps (iphone, droid) are not free but PC & Mac are free. In home networking workded great including AirPlay to my AppleTV from iPhone. At the office or vacation home you may need to setup your router to work properly and this is not easy for a network noob.
