So I will say that this is absolutely a step in the right direction for samsung and tv's as a whole. With the breath taking color's and speed of the processor in the Q8C it is a joy to use. I notice that a lot of past tv where they are just lagging and choppy this unit really keeps up and as for the colors this is by far the best unit I have had the chance to see because they are vivid and bright and just make every thing great! 1. So I'm gonna start with design. I love the overall design of this unit with the metal back and the curve that is just right it really is amazing and technologically advanced television. So as for the design the overall build quality is outstanding. 2. So as for the features I really like how the detection of all accessories and things plugged into the unit are detected and they have really given you more options to use the one control with that said I really do think that the new remote is a work of art in the way that they made it more user-friendly and stable than the years prior. Also the Steam abilities coming soon will be very interesting. I am hoping the work out deals with more sources to assist with cut the cord types but from what I see the best update to features is with the assist of the processor to make the transition more quick and no lag! 3.Ease or use.... is an understatement it is just second nature if you have ever experienced a smart TV before they have every option for everything possible pretty much and it make sure that explains a lot of things are gives you option to control every different aspect of the overall experience. Going from Netflix to YouTube to everything in between application wise or your basic cable or your Apple TV is an absolute Breeze there is no concerned when trying to access any part so for each of you so I would have absolutely sale 5 out of 5 So my last words in closing. I am impressed by this model I absolutely and genuinely believe it is a big step in the right direction for Samsung when looking at OLED TV from other makers I just never think there as Bright as Samsung. And as for brightness and overall lag while playing video games I did not notice any or any bleeding everything really seem to just work with no complaints. I am pleasantly surprised how much I find improvements over the Samsung KS Models From Last Year. So my overall Score is a 8 out of 10. So still an amazing set and I am pleased with my experience and looking forward to more innovation from Samsung
Very happy with this purchase. The TV itself is sleek and attractive. The picture quality is excellent, clear and crisp. I have had no lag when watching sports or any other fast moving movie or program. It is a joy to watch HD programming on this TV.
Best picture for the money, great looking tv whether on or off. Deep blacks and great color. Smart remote rocks and features are easy to use. Unfortunately the tv will turn an on by itself, the Netflix app only works half the time you try to use and the nice finish peels off when removing the masking tape that's applied at the factory (i assume to protect the finish). Disappointed in the fact that I went with the saying that "you get what you pay for " and upgraded expecting a more reliable and sturdy set then the cheaper models. If tv would stay on when it should, apps would work every time and I didn't have to make this a spare room tv because the factory finish comes off just from removing the protective film I would give it 5 stars!!!!
I have had to reset the TV to factory defaults once since purchasing 30 days ago in order to get the TV to connect to my WIFI. Additionally, have had to log out and back into TV WIFI network several times to try and get it to connect. TV is 15 feet away from my router with no obstructions in the way. Tonight I had to set the DNS to 188.8.131.52 and unplug the TV for 60 seconds and back in to get it reconnected (via Chat help). I have confirmed it is not my router since the WII right below the TV is able to immediately access my network and internet to watch Netflix. Concerned that I am going to continue to have issues with this functionality, which is why I purchased a SmartTV rather than use a different device (e.g. my WII).
