Good quality, solidly built. Surprisingly easy to install-- I did most of it alone, but did want an extra pair of hands when I was mounting the monitors, just in case. Some things that aren't obvious at a glance: - You don't get to choose the angle between your monitors (although there's an additional piece you can purchase that allows this). Monitor tilt (top/bottom) is marginally adjustable: there are two possible positions, I believe 3 degrees or 8 degrees, and you choose once, while installing the monitors. - The keyboard tray (which is tiny-- 14x9" with an additional 10x8 mouse tray-- so I bought the Ergotron Deep Keyboard Tray to go with this) may be set to one of two angles-- flat, or angled very slightly away from you. I would prefer more adjustability in this respect. - The height between the monitors and the keyboard is adjustable. You can do this once and then leave it as is when you go from sitting to standing, or you can adjust it separately every time. As other reviewers have stated, there's definitely some jiggle when you type. Not enough so it feels flimsy, just enough to be visible in the monitors. I worried about this, because I have poor vision and a tendency toward motion sickness (!), but it hasn't been a problem. Partly, I've learned to type a little more lightly. Partly I've just learned to live with it, and honestly I don't really notice it anymore. Didn't take long-- perhaps a day. Overall, I'm quite happy with the WorkFit-S. I think it offers a good balance of features and value. It gets quite a lot of attention at my workplace, and an awful lot of people who've seen it in action have walked away saying, "I want one of those!"
I bought the Fellowes Monitor Riser because I needed something to raise my new 32" flat panel TV several inches. It was rated to hold a computer monitor that weighed much more than my TV so I figured it was worth a try... It worked perfectly and the three-position adjustable height feature is great!! That said, when mine arrived, one of the plastic 'pegs' that guides the opening/closing of the small drawer was broken. I didn't bother returning it because I wasn't planning to use the drawer anyway and it didn't affect the use of the stand. For those who do want to use the drawer, please be aware that it is very small (both in depth and height) and does not pull straight out (it tilts down when extended). Storing a few small items is about all it's good for. Aside from the drawer, the stand IS very sturdy (and looks really nice with the glossy black base of my TV). It's a bit pricy for a completely plastic product, but compared to most riser stands, it's actually very reasonably priced for what you get. And just FYI...this product is available from many places, but at the time I purchased it, Overstock had the best price.
This was a dream come true to be able to regain the lost desk top space under my 3 monitors!!! Heavy Duty and very functional. Only one wish....That the arms were just a little bit longer to be able to better accommodate my 3 - 27" monitors. I have them set up kind of staggered where the center one sits slightly in front of the left & right monitors. No Biggie but just sayin' Happy with purchase!!!
I researched stands for a couple of weeks and finally decided on the Ergotech. Now I'm VERY glad that I did! It's more expensive that many on the market but well worth it to me. One of my concerns was getting a mount that wouldn't be able to adjust all three monitors exactly at the same height (for a clean look). There are many on the market that have this very issue. The Ergotech is awesome in that regard. There is a mechanism on top that you turn for adjustments for EACH monitor. I also love the ease by which you can attach or remove a monitor. They make it a breeze. Very sturdy and well built. Definitely recommend. The one thing I would recommend to people who are looking at this stand (or any stand for that matter) is take in consideration the size of the base. The base is huge. Not really a surprise being that three monitors are attached to it. However, for some with a small desk, this could be an issue. I don't have a large desk (width wise) and it's just fine. I moved my desk away from the wall a bit so a little of the stand sits off the desk allowing me more space on my desk. Also, because the base is flat (which is nice), I have my stapler, paper clips holder and tape dispenser sitting on it. Everything considered... I definitely recommend!
