It is a refurbished/used laptop, but everything works so far (a couple weeks). New, retail cost for this computer was >$2000, and I only had to pay <$300 for it. So, if last a couple years, it'll have been a good buy.
Great purchase price and has Windows 10. OS program cost is close to this computers purchase price! Quick delivery, have had many HP laptops prior and was hesitant to buy "refurbished" but quality and looks are exactly the same as a new from a retailer, only difference seems to be the cost!!
Purchased this to replace our home computer that was an old dinosaur that was ready to die. Love the size and the way it's set up without all the bloatware you find on one from a retailer. It's the perfect way to set one up with only what you want, not what they want you to have......like Windows 7 instead of 8, which is impossible to run without a touchscreen. And you won't find one on *** with a full year warranty. Love this purchase........
I love getting these great deals on refurbished units. I also bought a refurb Kitchenaid standing mixer a couple years ago and it runs great. My computer guru told me a this laptop would have been over $$$$ new from a retailer. I feel confident it will continue to perform as i am told refurbs are sent back to HP and run through their paces before being offered for sale. They are just as good as a new laptop! I would advise anyone thinking of going this route to do so and if you get the extended warranty, you have extra protection for 3 years.
