Redid my living room and put these in my walls for the rear speakers in my surround sound system and they sound great. Full sound. Nice and loud. And the ohm range on them is great. Can change receivers and not have to worry about matching the ohm rating
This is a great set for the money. The sound is very nice and installation of the speakers is very easy. However, the volume switches are a bear. They barely fit in a new work electrical box. They will not fit in a rework electrical box or short box. I suppose you could just not use an electrical box but they discourage this in the instructions. What I did. If you plan on using an electrical box get the new work box with the nails. Remove the nails and cut off the nail holders. Also cut the wire run hole bigger to allow room for the wires later. You will now need to find a stud on your wall and cut a hole for the box along one side of the stud. Run the wires you need through hole in the wall and the electrical box with a bit of slack. Not too much as it's tough to push much wire back once you attach the switch. Screw the box diagonally from the inside of the box to the stud. Connect wires to the switch with minimal slack. Now carefully push switch into box wiggle wiggle wiggle. Mount the switch to the electrical box with short dry wall screws instead of the screws they give. Test it and cross your fingers. By the time you get to the final box you'll be a master. Good luck. Hope this helps someone.
Excellent sound and great price. I installed them in the ceiling and in the ceiling in my covered patio. The sound great! Receiver has lots of different inputs and does not look cheap. I might buy another set to do my family room!
