I'm not sure if it's the headphones or my phone signal, or the lack thereof. The audio cuts in and out almost like there is a short, but then again, it could be that my new Samsung J3 has absolutely no signal anywhere even though I live 1 mile from 2 different towers. When it does work, the audio of the headset is pretty good, not Beats quality, but pretty good considering the price.
These are pretty durable, good-sounding ear buds. The nature of ear buds' construction, with fine wires that are constantly being pulled on to dislodge from the ear or disconnect from the audio source, make it inevitable they will need to be replaced periodically. Having three teens using ear buds means that I am fairly discerning as a buyer, and these Sony EX Series are my go-to model. For the price-point (and even double it), they are the best-sounding, most durable ear buds we've found. I will buy more, but it's not the fault of the Sony ear buds!
I wasn't expecting much from this device, since the price was so low, but I tried it out in my '98 Lumina with an old school iPod Nano and it worked perfectly. Audio was very clear and came through all the speakers, front and rear. Awesome!!! A very cheap way to upgrade an outdated car stereo system.
