This tv is an exceptional product especially for the price. A great value where you cannot go wrong. I just got this and have put it on my desk to be used mostly for gaming/dvd's and will soon be hooking up my laptop to it as a second monitor. First of all, as you can tell from the photos, the design is aesthetically pleasing with the glossy black finish and glass edging. Some nice bonuses for me are the swivel stand which is great for viewing at different angles. Also the controls are a slick touch sensor as well. In terms of connectivity, the tv has more than I even need, plenty of options from USB to 5 HDMI. Plugging in your sources will not be a problem at all. The picture is about as good as I hoped for. Great resolution and clarity as well as very impressive contrast. While I was doing my research and shopping around, I was also looking at some comparable Vizio's and compared to this the color contrast (especially the darks) doesn't quite stand up to it's quality. The other thing of note is that even though it's running only at 60hz, the blur effect is not too bad, it's one thing I was looking for considering I'll be gaming on it. But unless you're a hardcore COD player it shouldn't be an issue. Lastly as is the case with most flat-panels like this, the audio is pretty poor, so as long as you're not expecting the quality of a decent speaker system, it shouldn't bother you much. As for me, I expected as much and am planning on getting a cheap set of speakers for less than $40 which should more than make up for the sound as it is. All in all, with the price this unit is currently going for, the decision to get this was pretty easy as Hannspree appears to be a quality new company. Can't go wrong with this TV.
