  • Fun Camera in 3D/2D

What a fun camera, I have a few of the old film 3D cameras but digital is the way to go, shoots great 3D and 2D you can even shoot 3D and at the same time a 2D copy, shoots 3D video too! However 3D prints without glasses never worked to well, my best results were to download a free stereo photo maker program and convert the MPO photo files to old fashion side by side stereo photos, and use a stereo print viewer or get the Hasbro my3D viewer for iphone then load photos to your phone and put phone into your Hasbro 3D viewer and you have stunning real 3D slides. As soon as you take the picture you can see without glasses the 3D effect of the special screen. My suggestion is to get an extra battery, battery life is short.

  • Great Camera

This camera is great, the screen is great in 3d, the pictures and video look fantastic. The 3D feature is not just a gimmick, this is a great camera, and one of the only ones I know of that does it with 2 sensors and lens. As a consequence, know that it is heavier and bulkier than other 2D cameras. All the menus so far are reasonably intuitive.

  • great entry into 3d, however...

i am impressed with the quality of the 3d images. very sharp. the lenses are 75mm apart, the average of human eye to eye. and it does make a difference. i own a HTC EVO 3D phone, and the lenses are much closer together. therefore the 3d effect drops off quickly with distance to subject. however, on all 3d video footage there are three distinct(and distracting) dead pixel spots. i put the SD card into my laptop and used cyberlink director 11 pro. they are there and just as annoying as before. to me this makes it useless for video. i know its a sub $200 point and shoot, not a video cam. but i've never had this problem before(although this is the first fujifilm cam i've owned), and it should function properly. i'm the first owner, less than a month old and never dropped, never dropped in the toilet, etc. i'm going to contact fuji and do what i must to get this straightened out. if i can leave an update here, i will.
