Corsair when they built this model they built a good one easily fits in my phantom full tower with ease and they double thick radiator does a great job on keeping my CPU cool, its a must have on the new Intel skylake processors which at least in my case runs hotter then my haswell processor I upgraded from, even over clocking my Intel 6th gen from 4.0ghz all the way to 5.0ghz it kept my processor within normal parameters, a must have for those of us who don't have a double 120mm fan space in either the top or back of my case, NZXT in there infinite knowledge put twin 240mm fans on the top and one 120mm in the rear , so when the h60 I first purchased didn't do the job this one does, a must have for those who demand quality and performance out of the computers they build or upgrade, you can't go wrong with the corsair h80i v2 when trying to keep your CPU cool weighed you overclock it or run at stock settings this unit does the job and very well
Running an AND FX 4130 Quad Core, don't really need the cooler for it because it's AMD but did a Desktop overhaul and wanted all the gadgets. With 4 copper Zalman cooler was running 104-110F, now 72-84F overclocked 30%. When things actually work it's satisfying. This cooler works like a champ and for not much more than a nice regular cooler. Who knew??
I received this item last week and installed it. Going from a cooler master heatsink and twin fans to cool my Intel processor, but it was still hitting 61c under a heavy load. The difference with the corsair hydro cool was immediately much cooler even with over clocking my 3.6ghz quad core Intel processor to 3.8ghz with a 4.2ghz turbo My processor under a heavy load is now running at 42-45 Celsius what a difference, and considering corsairs great reputation for quality and performance this is a must have for those who want to keep the systems up and running for many years even overclocked this is a must have
