Was just what I was looking for, except that I would have preferred 8GB RAM. The two unoccupied memory slots made adding additional memory quite easy. After encountering a blinking orange on/off light with 2 new memory sticks installed, a quick Google search indicated that I should take out the original sticks and place them in the originally unoccupied slots, and then place the new sticks in the two originally occupied slots. Doing so solved the problem, with no more blinking orange led (go figure?). The unit I received was in very good (A) condition, to my satisfaction.
It got here in a timely fashion, I know it is refurbished but there are some chips on some of the plastic parts, but the up-side is 2TB HDD and 16Gb Ram and the I7 processor, this machine is pretty fast on its own but I did a little upgrade and added a $ SSD 500 gb , a wifi board (archer 1300) and an up graded video card (I had all this stuff) so now it flat flies internet is really fast with the up grades and I get to use both of my monitors.
I wanted to purchase a replacement desktop PC for my wife's use but did not want to get one with Windows 8. This is an impossible task in the 'big box' stores because all new PCs come with Windows 8. I won't get into the issue of ver. 8 versus ver. 7, but if you have tried both, you realize what the issues are. Overstock.com came to the rescue with a number of quality options and I chose this particular model of an HP desktop for its value and combination of features (processor and memory). I added an internal wireless card (much less expensive than a USB device) and now the PC is in place and working very well. Thanks Overstock.com!
