Love the small footprint. It's very quite. It's running cooler than expected (around body temperature) with 16 gigs of memory and four 1 gig hard drives. HDMI output drives my 55 inch 4K TV with a wireless keyboard and mouse. Using Belarc*** software, wireless AC runs about 520 Mbit/sec to an Asus RT-1200AC router. Overstock seemed to have the best price.
UPS delivered the item on time. It was well packaged and even came with a mouse and keyboard (which was not mentioned as being included). Windows installed easily and did all the necessary updates. VERY EASY to set up. The case is in near perfect condition. Upon opening the case I saw that it had been thoroughly cleaned with no trace of dust. The fans are quiet which is very nice. One complaint: I tried installing a second DVD burner (it came with one), and I found that the BIOS had been "customized" and could not be modified IN ANY WAY. The extra drive should have been plug and play, but it doesn't recognize an additional SATA DVD burner? And as you scroll through the BIOS, not everything is displayed other than the specific parts that the refurbisher set up. You can't change anything, including boot order! And if you try to enter the RAID utility when booting the computer up, you're notified "there are no devices detected, press any key to continue" which initiated a restart. This would not be a problem for probably 99% of users, but I am in the 1% club that would like to have access to those things (BIOS changes, the ability to add additional optical drives, and the ability to set up RAID-0 for redundancy). I'm giving this a 5 star rating because of the processor (i7), the quantity of RAM (16 GB), storage capacity (2 TB), overall visual condition, and, to be honest, the blistering speed of this "used/pre-owned/experienced/re-conditioned" device. I just hope I'm not writing this review too early, because I just set it up last night and there is only a 30-day warranty. Although experience has shown that if there will be a problem, it will manifest itself early (fingers crossed!).
It's cheap and matches the specs of the computer that recently died on mom. I had to replace the HDD with the one on the dead system, and I bumped the RAM up to 6 GB with the old system. It's running great, the only complaint I have is the fan noise, but being a smaller system, that's a granted. Otherwise when I opened it up, it was extremely clean on the inside, and a very good bargain for it's capabilities, despite the diminutive size of the HDD.
