    This is a real headache and time waster for me. If this laptop was as stated it would be great. If you buy this you are taking a gamble. However my laptop was damaged on arrival and more than mere cosmetics. Here are some but not all of the issues: It appeared the technician ate lunch or a snack and failed to clean it off. There was what looked like chocolate on the left speaker and crumbs in the keyboard. Clearly some type of quality issue. Not sure if they are not given lunches or what. The logo was partially chipped off. Okay so maybe that is trivial I proceeded because it is a big let down but not something that is too bad. The screen resolution on this one was foggy and way below standard. The laptop crashed within one hour and had to be rebooted. I I called to try to get support and could not get a person sent e-mails and phone calls. Had purchased warranty and went with warranty tech support since I could not get the help from the vendor. Had done some type of static removal thing and it worked! Yes, for seven hours or so! I was so happy except the foggy screen. I loaded in my norton anti virus started doing my school work added in my word 2010 professional, added adobe etc. The computer took a while to update when shut it off that night. When went to start it next morning took over 15 minutes to boot up updating etc. Finally on and about an hour into it the whole thing went black again! Okay so this is three times. I got an e-mail response a few days later from the vendor saying they can't help me unless I furnish and invoice but they never sent one! ( not one of my voicemails were responded to) I emailed back for clarification have not heard back it is a full day later and the weekend is here. I called Dell at a previous call with overstock telling me to call them and they said there was an issue that needed to be cleared on my service tag. Also pop ups from windows came with error messages about a video and I wrote the numbers down in case tech support calls back. I Called overstock who promised if one in stock to replace and ship back at their expense. If I ship this other one back I am holding my breath as it worked another four hours and crashed again. I sent the invoice to the vendor and am not satisfied yet. Also they say they shipped when all the do is print a label do not expect delivery immediately etc. Another problem is the shipping packing materials-very flimsy and easily damaged in transit. HP packs their tech support items better. It may have been damaged in shipping the way these carriers throw things around it is hard to say but all that was protecting this from damage was a clear rubber seal around a piece of cardboard in cardboard. Hardly shock resistant. Maybe it was damaged in shipping. I do not know-of course the food in it and the chipped of logo etc that is clearly the vendors issue. I guess it boils down to you get what you pay for. This is an economic used product that is refurbished. They are not giving the best customer service and their quality control is limited. It is a gamble but if you are on a low budget with your back against the wall please think twice before taking a risk on a headache that could cost you countless hours of time trying to resolve. So Dell is an excellent product new but refurbished it is only as good as the product support that you get.

    I suggested this product to my wife. First, the image given on the link did not matched with actual product and as per my thought this is cheating. I purchased so many refurbished product in the past and this has happen first time. Laptop screen is broken at the left top corner from outside. Keyboard mouse pointer is broken. In the image, it is showing camera and finger print scanner while in actual product this is not present. This product is in extremely poor condition and is not clean at all. I simply put my money in the drain. Never Ever Ever Ever purchase this product. Battery condition is very poor as it drain out quickly.

    It was a HUGE mistake to purchae this. I thouht this would be totally refurbished - and cleaned up/checked out. However started it up and blue screened immediately. (It was supposed to boot up with Windows 7 on it.) Thank goodness I tried this before Christmas because it was "main" gift for daughter. Had to run to *** and buy new laptop day before holiday so Xmas wasn't ruined for my daughter. This laptop was dirty, had crumbs in keyboard, didn't work - was AWEFUL. Clearly had not been refurbished.
