As the title says, this does not really dazzle me. It was refurbished which I normally do not have a problem with; however I do not get many hours clocked on it right now. I get less than one a week because my other systems are still my main source. When the computer crashed twice, might be a graphics card, I became alarmed. For the hassle of sending it back and maybe never getting it corrected I am keeping it and looking at it myself. I did give it three stars for good performance otherwise. It also does not have a HDMI port so you will need an adapter. If editing is allowed on these reviews I will capture a picture of the crash next time it happens.
I recently upgraded to the 2017 iPad from a much earlier version (iPad 2) and am so happy I did. I've not had any issues with lag like other non-Apple tablets, and so far it has ran everything I've thrown at it. The features of the newer iOS didn't take long for me to become accustomed to. One thing I *really* like about iPads is that apps don't eat through the internal storage, and both backups & photos are saved on the cloud automatically - so I can access my pics from my pc on the fly. The battery life on this is amazing - again, so much better than the non-Apple tablets I'm accustomed to, and it's fairly equivalent to the iPad 2 I had. I can stream video services all day & not have to worry about the battery dying (which typically, on a binge-watch-kind-of-day, would be 8-10 hours). It also charges fairly quickly. The camera is pretty decent quality-wise - I won't win any photography awards but it's fine for casual captures. It took me awhile to justify the cost of upgrading, but I'm so very glad that I did. It's now replaced not only my older iPad, but my other non-Apple tablets as well, and has become my go-to-device for almost everything.
This computer is not bad at all, the Ryzen 1400 is kind of a bummer but the GT 730 is really the disappointing part of this all. Super low end video card, I replaced with a 1050 Ti for a huge difference. The MoBo is badass once you get all the MSI software installed...look up the B350M Bazooka, thats the model and you can adjust the LEDs that are on the motherboard and get them to sync with music and CPU temperature. The keyboard and mouse combo is pretty good, only shame is that the mouse just flashes theres no way to control the LED as far as I can tell. Not disappointed at all, good semi-entry build if you spend enough you can really get this thing going.
Awesome computer. I've found it to be plenty powerful enough and fast enough for day to day use. I do not play games on it but I do watch plenty of videos, surf the web, use social media, check out news sites, and use Facebook for Video chats. Love the size of the screen. Getting to that age when I like the larger screens. Makes it very comfortable to use without straining your eyes. Love the concept of the whole computer is lightweight and is a all in one. This eliminates many of the power cords that you would have with a Regular Desktop Computer. Fact is I am doing this review on the computer right now. I am really enjoying this computer.
