Best money EVER spent on a computer peripheral. EVER. since my first Packard Bell back in '91, I've never had more useful thing than this dock. Hats off to Toshiba for this one, they finally got a great product working as stated right out of the box.
This Converter is great you can use any IDE or SATA drive as a external drive at a fraction of the cost of a docking station. This kit is complete with power supply and all necessary cables.
Excellent device. Easy to use. Simple USB plug-in. Was able to recover data from my system disk, which I had to replace because some blocks corrupted, and the system couldn't be recovered. New disk, reinstalled system, back up and running, but without my old data. This Docking Station let me recover it all. Watch out for other interfaces which don't work on this kind of disk (Dell Inspiron internal HDD). You can use this, with a spare HDD, as an external drive.
This is a replacement for an older version of the Sculpt that gave up the ghost after a few years. Great feel. Paired with little problem. I use it with Input Director, cableless KVM software, and it works great. My only question is that after several weeks of use it started vibrating today. I don't have any specific software installed for the mouse so I'm not sure why all of a sudden today this started. The primary system is a Lenovo laptop in a docking station running Windows 7 and the other 2 are Lenovo's AIO running Windows 10. On the Windows 10 system it is refreshing the page when it vibrates and on Windows 7 it's doing an Alt+Tab.
