I have a 2005 Honda Pilot. All of my music is digital but my truck has no Ipod or MP3 port. It came with a 6 disc CD changer (which I don't use) and a cassette player (that NO ONE USES ANYMORE). The adapter was the perfect solution. It's easy to use and the sound quality is great. I just plug it into my Android phone and go. The bonus is when I get a call, it acts as a hands free device and I can hear/speak to the caller through the speakers of the car.
It's cheap, and it works. I've been using this product daily for almost 6 months now. You won't get crisp hi-digital sound out of it, but it sounds good enough with my stock car stereo. Perfect for someone with a tape deck, and doesn't want to spend the money to update to a bluetooth or auxiliary source enabled deck.
Overall, I am very happy with this car stereo. For the price, being able to add AUX IN, Bluetooth A2DP, SD card, and USB in was fantastic. I don't foresee watching too many movies while I'm driving, but it's nice that it's there. I spent the time waiting for it to be watching YouTube videos about replacing the stereo in my make/model of car. After buying the appropriate wiring harness and heat-shrink tubing from the local auto parts store, I was able to remove my old stereo and install this one in about an hour, keeping in mind this is the first car stereo I have ever installed by myself. The ordering and delivery process were trouble-free, my only annoyances are with Pyle themselves, not Overstock. The stereo-side wiring harness provided by Pyle had 2 of the wires labeled incorrectly. Apparently there are industry-standard colors for speakers, power, etc., and one wire was both the wrong color and had the wrong label. Luckily, I was able to look it up on line to see what it was supposed to be. Also, I know this is a refurbished model, but the product description listed a Subwoofer Output, and the unit I received did NOT have one. There is a hole in chassis for it, but there is no plug. Also, the instructional manual has different screenshots than the model I have. It seems that my unit has newer software than the book, which in several cases if a GOOD thing. Bluetooth autoconnect is a great feature that I have, even though the manual says I shouldn't. All things considered, this is a great value, and I am happy with this purchase.
