I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was really happy with this purchase. The bag is compact, the strap is comfortable for your shoulders ,and it has easy access to my camera. It fits my Nikon d5500 camera with a 18-140mm lens perfect in the front pocket. And I was able to store extra items inside the bag without a problem. It fit my passport,iPhone, money, credit cards, and some makeup just fine. Would recommend. And yes the front Velcro is obvious, but it's okay, because it can alert you if someone is trying to pick pocket you. Also the bag looks no where near being a camera bag, so it's a good way to disguise it.
I had seen the Ape brand holsters on O.co and even went so far as to ask if a particular one would hold a Canon 70D with a battery grip. I saw the response was a yes from the O.co answer line. A few days later, this item popped up as on sale and "Recommended for me" so I went ahead and ordered it. The thing is, I didn't do my homework and double check that it was the same one I had inquired about. It wasn't. This will not hold a DSLR. This will not hold a mirrorless camera with an external lens. This will only hold your iPhone or your Note. I take responsibility for not reading every detail carefully, but when I asked to return it because it was the wrong size, the shipping they wanted to charge me was more than the item cost. So, I now have this tiny useless bag that I will end up donating to some thrift store sometime soon. If you want a tiny bag with lots of zippers and clips, then get this bag. If you want a bag that will fit a real camera, then read the fine print.
