I like the CD tower because I can stack many CDs in a corner without taking up much room and it looks fine. It is designed with screws to attach it to a wall or other stable surface. I did not do this so I put something under the front base to slightly tilt it back toward the corner of the room. It is tall with a small base, so some precaution should be taken to make it stable.
We have used Verbatim Slimline DVD cases for our customer's DVDs for several years now, and they are popular! The clear plastic slipcover holder keeps the insert in place without slipage, and the DVD discs are easy to insert and remove. Probably the most appreciated feature is the slim size - the length and width are the same as standard DVD cases, but the depth is a fraction of those, allowing many more cases to fit on a shelf. I highly recommend Verbatim Slimline DVD cases!
Out of about 20 DVDs that I've tried to use so far, 2-3 of them were defective. I guess 2-3 out of 100 may be acceptable, but I'll likely see a few more like that... so this kinda sucks.
