the unit is very good once you know where all the items are. I down loaded a manual from the net, and found out how to use it. also it did not have any 110 AC cord. all in all very good for the price I payed.
My previous GPS was the Garmin Colorado which finally died so I wanted a top-notch replacement and this unit has not diappointed me. I have been practicing with it on local hikes but plan to use it on long multi-day trips in the Spring. There is a learning curve as with any GPS unit but with practice, it becomes quite easy to operate. I do recommend you buy a mini SD card to increase memory if you plan to download Garmin maps.
