SOLVES MANY DISTANCE ISSUES FOR A REMOTE VIDEO/AUDIO MONITOR, FOR ONE MORE SCREEN OR SEVERAL A/V MONITORS OFF OF A MAIN FEED JACK BOX. I'M QUITE PLEASED WITH THIS LITTLE UNION ADAPTER!, ( YES I AM!) TO FIND THIS HDMI CABLE ADAPTER !. ALSO THIS SMALL PIECE ALLOWS THE UNION OF A (MINI - HDMI)I END TO BE ADDED TO A FULL SIZE HDMI PORT END. I FIND IT NICE TO HAVE A FEW ON HAND IF YOU PLAY WITH VIDEO/AUDIO THRU - OUT YOUR DIGGS. I'M QUITE PLEASED WITH QUALITY, AVAILABILITY, AND PRICE ALWAYS @ OVERSTOCK.COM.
For those of you that don't know - VGA, video - graphics - accelerator is video ONLY. I have one but figured out the video part works fine. For older computers you need a 3.5mm Male jack converted to rca jacks for audio. This 3.5mm Male jack plugs into your speaker output on your computer to your input jack on your T.V. This layout has worked great for me. Why they put A/V/ jacks on a VGA is confusing to me considering VGA is video only. Maybe with newer computers this is possible but I'm not going to spend $600.00 or more on a new computer to find out. I hope this helps those in need.
