The colors are "burgundy so dark it's purple or brown", dark dark beige, army green, and "1970s yellow and orange combo yarn." It doesn't pop at all, it darkens my maple hallway if anything. And if you look closely at the photo you can see some lines, those are actually big 1-inch wide humps in a linear pattern across the middle and at each of the short ends. The quality is only OK, some tufts are longer than others and need to be trimmed. It is a decent thickness. I was hoping for sagey green and gold, orange and red. Nope.
I purchased this rug for a home we are building. Main colors will be earth tones. I found the red to be more of a purple than pictured. Quality is really good and size is what I wanted. I will use in sewing room, so it will work perfectly. I am very happy with it overall
This is a beautiful rug. I have had it for about 10 months and it still looks great. It is true that the orange section is not solid; it is speckled orange and cream. At first, I was very disappointed by this, but the color has grown on me. My color scheme is red/burgandy, olive green, gold, and rust, so the rug fits very nicely. I get lots of compliments on it.
Bought this rug for 2nd floor loft area over wood floors. Quality is fantastic and the colors are bright and bold. The creme colored spots in the orange area are very faint and add a nice characteristic to the rub. Hard to see on the photos but a nice raised pattern of the wool, both in the middle and on each of the two shorter edges. Colors go nicely with light beige walls in my home. Would highly recommend this area rug.
