After lots if I-net searching, reading reviews on this site and others, I found that this is the best price and quality for an item like this. I bought two, one for gemstone beads and the other for glass, wood and miscellaneous beads. Now my beads are perfectly organized. The only hitch is, finding dividers for the drawers, I couldn't find the right size anywhere so I had some heavy duty poster board and cut that into 1.25" x 2" pieces, it works perfectly and I don't have a million extra of those little divider things cluttering up my space. I bet cutting up old credit/gift cards would work just as well.
It's so sturdy and well made! It's also big, so if you have a small work space this isn't the best option. The finish is not solid black, it's got an almost faded look to it which I think is cool but it might be a turn off if you're expecting deep dark black.
The Multi-Bin Organizer is an asset to my papercrafting and sewing. It holds scissors, pens, pencils, a skinny waterbrush, and other small items. It will not, however, hold the decorative-blade scissors I had hoped it would, thus my rating of "good." Self-assembly was easy, and once it's popped together, it is sturdier than I thought it would be. I think it's overall best use is for pens and pencils, esp my colored pencils which I use daily. Pens that are larger in diameter do not fit, just slim ones. I'm glad I purchased it, and I keep finding both sewing and crafting items that fit right into it. At a glance, I can see what I have.
This cart is amazing! It is roomy enough to hold a lot of art supplies and it can be rolled around my studio to be ever handy at my side. It also turns 360 on a dime to be in easy reach. It can stand in the middle of the room so saves wall space or just the thing for a small craft room or a craft area that tucks in a closet when not in use. Easy to put together. Best art room storage/work investment I've made!
