I am redoing a small second floor bedroom into a man cave. However, it must remain a guest room, ironing room and sewing room. This required a sewing table that could be folded to resemble any thing but a sewing table. This does it and includes a lift to hide the sewing machine. The home owner loves it and it is easy to move when it is needed for sewing as it is on wheels. The price is also attractive.
Although I have been sewing for over 40 years, this is my first ever experience with a serger. The instructions are clear and easy to read. I have used it a couple times and am very pleased. I have much to learn yet, and can't wait to become an avid serger! I have always had Brother products. I trust the brand. They are both affordable and reliable.
The only thing I wish I had with the sewing machine is a "how to sew" video. The machine itself is ver very easy to use and I have almost learned how to use it without directions but I do have to learn what needle and what thread is used with which material. I thought all sewing machine needles were the same and all thread are the same. They are Not. It can affect the operation of the sewing machine as I have realized just recently.
