Purchased a sewing machine from Overstock for my granddaughter and this sewing kit has everything that she will need to begin sewing except the fabric!?
I was suprized how great my hands feel with these on,, i have RA an my hands an joints ache ..I do alot of sewing an needlework an they havent gotten in the way of doing this work at all..They warm the hands an the compression is just right..I like the fact that they are dark colored wont show dirt so easy, an they wash up great in machine an i air dry them as to not dry out spandex in them...I dont think you can go wrong iv'e read reviews for others being cheesy an raveling this are neither..I'm pretty picky an if they had come apart in wash they would have heard from me..Will need another pair as my daughter has been using them as she has hand issues also...
Very pleased with the overall performance and value of the PE770. Many pluses. However, very disappointed that (at least on my machine) one of the built in fonts does not sew out correctly. The letters of a name I'm working on are severely miss placed. No way I can use this font with the name. Looks awful. The machine is only three weeks old and I was told to take it to an authorized Brother service center 60 miles away. We have a large Brother sales store just twenty minutes from me, but they aren't an authorized service center. It seems that brother should work something out so the machine can be repaired under warranty near me. Shouldn't be too big a challenge and would reflect the Brother experience that I'm used to.
I have been sewing and doing crewel/needlework all my life. Bought this machine to embroider items for my granddaughter after I found out what people charge in Tampa. With a few speed bumps learning how to measure and place monogram letters, I'm enjoying the machine very much!
