Introduced to using this by teacher from the Royal Needlework school. Love the 2-hands-free advantage, sturdy build, adjustable height. Only wish I could locate different size hoops for it -- some projects are too small -- but the one that comes with it is good for most pieces.
I have loved stitching for sixty years and do even more so now that I own three EDMUNDS stitchery frames. I could not be happier with them since they make it easy and relaxing to work for hours on needlework projects . For smaller projects, I love to use the SIT- ON Stitchery Frame; but for wider projects (20 inches +) I prefer to use the Edmunds Adjustable Table/ Lap Needlework Stand because its two legs support the stretcher bars well, and it lets you work in a relaxed position that does not strain your shoulders. This frame is also ideal for other projects, such as quilting and rug-hooking. For extra wide projects, you can acquire (buy or have made) longer split scroll bars in addition to those that come with this frame; and you will still enjoy the ease with which you can work when your project is attached and fastened into this frame. No holds barred - needlework rules!
I really like this eebroidery frame. Very comfortable to use. I do wish, however, that the tightening screw were easier to turn. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a hoop support!
