I was disappointed because the size was not true to other gloves I have ordered from other stores. I wasn't able to even try them on. The medium will probably fit my 14 yr old niece so I'm sending them to her! Only problem is that she doesn't need stress relief!! The medium size was so small that I doubt the large would fit.

  • I heart these gloves.

As someone who does detailed work with her hands, I like to wear compression gloves as a preventative measure to help me maintain their health. However, so many of the gloves are that awful flesh tone which just looks "old-lady" and they can also be quite expensive. The Lion brand gloves are a bright superhero blue which any teenage hot-topic shopper would be proud to sport. I've even gotten compliments on them when wearing them out in public. They material is soft, they are quite comfortable and hand wash nicely. I really notice a difference in how long I can work when wearing these gloves. They aren't always available, so this time I bought several pairs. I find that after about 6 months in the Texas heat or longer in the winter they've stretched out and need replacing to be really therapeutic, but for around $$ each, its totally worth it.

"These are advertised as knitter's gloves, but I am not a knitter. I have had hand surgeries and my hands would become stiff and sore from using the computer, holding a book, etc. These gloves feel good and make my hands feel better. I've mentioned them to several friends who are knitters. I would buy them again.

These relieve stress on hands when crafting. However, they work better the more fitted they are. If you are bordeline in size, I would suggest using the smaller of the sizes. Also, the seams can be uncomfortable for some, but you can simply turn them inside out - presto, no seams rubbbing. The color is a nice vivid royal blue, which I like. If you get more than mild hand soreness, I suggest the Handeze brand, since they are even better for stress relief and support, however they are more expensive and often only sold singly. These work fine for the price.

  • Give your hands support

I've only tried the gloves once or twice since ordering, because I only need them on those certain days when my hands feel achy and stiff due to cold weather or repetitive motions. The gloves fit well, not too tight (I can leave my rings on and wear them OK). They give decent support to my hands and wrists. I was worried they might be too tight based on other reviews, but they're fine. I have average sized hands.

I bought two pairs for two friends, having used my own for more than two years. If you like to knit and crochet, but have arthritis in your thumbs, these gloves provide support at one-fourth the price of orthopedic or OT devices. They're easy to put on and take off, and easy to clean as well.

I too have arthritis in my hands and while I use mine for knitting.I would think they would provide support and had some comfort to your hands for coloring.

    • A:

They should work. Just make sure to get the smaller size so that they compress because that is what helps.

    • A:

It's hard to say...I use them for crochet and they do offer a nice snug fit, almost compression-like and it does make a difference for me. I color as well but haven't yet tried with the gloves.
