Cake came out with ease. Sprayed pan heavy with a baking/flour spray. Did not use box cake mix made cake from scratch. Made a chocolate batter and a butter cake batter. Poured the butter cake batter in first then added only part of chocolate batter. Directions state about 5 1/2 cups of batter and my homemade cake batters are 5cups each. The cooking time took almost 50minutes the sides were done before the middle which ended up more golden. Have to adjust time for type of batter and oven using. Would recommend this pan just make sure to spray or grease and flour every spot to come out with ease.
I took Wilton cake decorating classes in the 1980's and I've used their products ever since. Their products are lifetime quality. They are a fair price and great looking too. Wilton really knows the cake decorating business.
I'm a cake decorator and sometimes that special cake just needs something to help it stand out. I try to keep the gold and silver fancifoil on hand all the time. Easy to work with. Gives a great effect.
