I really liked this glue gun once I understood what it meant by cordless. It does require electricity and does not use batteries which is what 'cordless' typically means. It's similar to a cordless phone that uses a base plugged into power that the gun sits in to heat up and melt the glue. I was at a trade show without electricity in my booth so I had to go borrow a wall outlet. The glue stayed liquid for a good 10 minutes before it had to go back in the cradle. There was a lot of dripping which may be the quality of the glue sticks vs. the design of the gun.
I read reviews before purchasing this rhinestone setter and this one was top rated. I had a GeMagic for years and thought it was time I try a hot fix applicator. I have used it a few times and it was really easy to use. Had no problems getting the stones to stay on like some reviews I read. It worked exactly how I thought (in a good way). I did burn myself once, but I say its from inexperience and eagerness, lol. I blinged out a few nice items for my girls and the rhinestones are still in tact just like when I put them on. I have to say I am glad that I listened to the reviews and highly recommend this item.
