With the handle-applicator these are the most efficient and easy to use for glue runners. I need and use this brand constantly without jamming or breaking the tape like other brands or types.
I needed a setter to apply my hot-fix rhinestones. With the various size included tips, it works great at picking up the corresponding size rhinestone. I do occasionally get a rhinestone stuck in the applicator, but it comes out rather easily with a toothpick.
I've tried so many different tape runners/glue runners for my scrapbooking over the past couple of years its unbelievable, and the GlueGlider is by far, one of the better ones. It's much smaller than the ATG gun in terms of handling (I can't work my ATG very well because of its size) and the glue holds really well. Out of the dozens and dozens of other tape runners I've used, almost all of them either a) gum up/break/just don't work or b) go on fine, but don't hold well at all (literally things falling of sometimes days after I've attached them). The GlueGlider refills are super easy to install as well. But the one downside is the cost. It's definitely one of the higher priced options out there, but I think its worth it. I use the GlueGlider for my tags, pages, etc. and the ATG or Scor-Pal tape I use as my workhorses - for covering my chipboard, etc. It's a very solid. good holding adhesive and the applicator and ease of refilling make it a definite "must have" for my crafting and scrapbooking!
