The pants were good and kept me warm during ONE ski trip. I never fell or was too hard on them, I wore them one time and there was a hole in them...nothing I couldn't fix, but who wants to sew your clothes all the time!?
I bought this a few weeks ago and went to Camelback skiing and it kept me very warm. I wore a single turtleneck sweater under it and I was comfortable!
I get it. They're cheap. I wasn't expecting a $$$ pair of ********* ski pants when I opened the box. But these are like two trash bags sandwiched together with a bit of pillow stuffing in the middle. My girlfriend and I both laughed out loud when opening them up. Regarding fitment, the waist runs a touch small. But the shoddy design of these pants makes the hips/legs billow out like one of those sumo wrestling suits. Looks pretty ridiculous. NOTHING like the picture. So why am I rating it 3 stars? Because they were worn on the slopes for a day by a first time skier who took a couple tough spills and still seemed to hold together. So although I think they're a joke for ski pants, I can't argue with the facts. In the end, I still wouldn't recommend them.
I bought these to wear while walking my dog who doesn't care how cold the air is or how hard the wind is blowing. I was miserable trying layers on layers to keep my legs warm. With these, I can just wear yoga pants underneath and be comfy. Like the other reviewer, I wear a 2X and was thrilled to find plus size snow pants. I can't attest to how waterproof they would be for skiing or snowmobiling, but they are definitely warm. And bonus- they don't make a lot of noise when the fabric rubs.
