Great flattering top either alone or over a long-sleeved T. Nice quality cotton fabric and heavy trim makes it hang nicely. Not well finished or I'd have rated it excellent, but well worth the money.
I noticed another reviewer commented on the need to get out her sewing machine out to adapt this shirt... When I put on this shirt I immediately noted that the cap sleeves severely limited my arm motion. But, the sleeves can be easily removed and hemmed to create a sleeveless shirt that fits and looks great. In the picture the lady is on a bicycle-this shirt is too dressy for that; it is definitely more of a work or going out shirt. A big advantage-we haven't had summer yet, but this seems like a shirt that would be relatively cool and crisp, even in humidity! Just because I can, I'm going to dye the shirt a different color with Jacquard Procion MX dye, which you can buy at any knitting store. It's a cold water dye and produces very vivid colors. I had this shirt in mind for a particular purpose-to go with a colorful silk skirt I bought on a whim, thus my desire to change the color (see below). In the picture it looks like the shirt has flecks of color in it; however, in person, it's pretty much white or slightly off white. The structure is provided by the sewn in diagonal panels and the tailoring by the back tie. This shirt is a keeper because of the quality of the fabric and the workmanship; however, you may want approach it as a potential small sewing project.
