I purchased this scarf last year on a whim with another purchase and the scarf is just okay, nothing special. I could have purchased a similar item at Five & Below and paid the same price. The picture does make the colors of the scarf a little bit more eye catching then they actually are and the material is thin to say the least. The scarf is worth a few bucks, but not much more then that.
FIRST THING- The Fushia scarf is the one with the blue dots. The Cerise scarf is the one with pink (cerise) dots. The background color on both scarves is similar; it is a reddish magenta. The only difference is the color of the dots running through the scarf. It was a little confusing to order the color I wanted so, I ordered both. Both scarves have a few accent stripes of gold. Beware! When you hand wash these scarves, the gold flakes off. This did not bother me because, I did not really care about the gold. Otherwise, it did wash well, not fading, stretching, and not misshapen. These are a lightweight, oblong scarf that is generous in size (can tie a lot different ways).
I really like this fringed triangle wrap. I bought it to wear with a long denim coat. It really "rocks" the look when belted and worn with boots! I've worn the scarf in a variety of ways: One way is to have the point in the front, cross tails in back and bring them back to the front; Second way is to cross scarf at one shoulder, use a ring or pin to hold it on. Third way is just to simply tuck scarf under your collar, and use as a wrap over a coat. Leave tails loose hanging down the front. So many possibilities. I have even used the faux suede wrap over an ankle length denim skirt .... I found the middle, put that in the back, brought the wrap around and pinned the wrap at my waist (a length of scarf and fringe will hang down) ... Then you can move fringe slightly to side or to the back and put on a wide belt (3 inch) ... now you have altogether different look - all out of one scarf! I recommend trying to accessorize with this scarf. I highly recommend it for getting creative!
