The zipper broke on the back of the boot the 2nd time I wore them. I couldn't fix it and couldn't walk in them with them unzipped. It was an embarasing nightmare.

The boot fits perfectly and are very comfortable. They are being used as part of a uniform for marching in parades (riding boot) although I may wear them out socially as well.

These boots were very thin, and smelled like petrol. Tried them on. Size of foot was ok, but much too loose around ankles and calves. Returned them.

  • Very nice boots, a little narrow

I bought these as fall boots in black and they are very nice and chic for that purpose. The calves of the boots are wide enough that they can be zipped up over a boot cut or slim-fit pair of jeans with no discomfort or bunching. Because of their description, I was wary about them being "knee-high" or "over the knee", but they are certainly not knee high boots on me (I am 5' 9"). They sit comfortably about 4 finger-widths below my knee. I would give them an excellent review except for two small things: One thing is that the smell of the black dye is very overpowering and almost smells burnt (like a campfire, not like burning plastic) and I really can't ignore it. It has faded with repeat wearings, but I had to get used to it. The second thing is that the boots are quite narrow at the toe and squeezed my pinky-toe uncomfortably after wearing them for a few hours (though they did not give me blisters). They do stretch a teeny-bit and they are now comfy to wear for work. They are a good value and I would recommend them because they are very stylish.
