    I purchased this product initially for a company cocktail party . Since I weigh 177, 5'8' I needed something that would help shape me and feel comfortable wearing it. I purchased a Large and it is a bit snug pulling it over your hips but once it's on it's super comfortable! It looks like you lost 15 lbs and the thong doesn't ride up. Be sure to get the right size if not it could be very uncomfortable wearing the thong. There is a hook closure for the bottom of the thong and a snap closure in front of the suit to tighten that area with and added zipper to seal the closure. I have also noticed it started to shape my body better and gives great back support. Since havng my daughter and gaining 65 lbs but losing 35 my body has gone through a lot. I have a lot of back pain (sciatic nerve) for weeks now. When I wear this suit it has helped relieve the pain as well as make it comfortable to work out. I highly recommend this item! I can't praise it enough. To help with the size: I purchased a LARGE, I wear size 11/12 work pants and Large tops. I weight 177+ and my height is 5'8'. The large is perfect and snug if I purchased XL it would have been too big. If you have larger hips it might be harder to pull on. The key to that is spreading your legs and using your thigh muscles to sretch the suit open. :)
