My son is very thin, and I was able to purchase these pants in a 28 waist. It was not an easy size to find. The pants are nice; however, they arrived dirty. When I took them to the dry cleaner to be hemmed, she noticed the dirt. I am keeping the pants because my son needs them for his prom, but I am disappointed that I had to have them dry cleaned prior to them being worn.
I am a middle aged person in my early 60's and I am not interested in trying to look half my age. I do like to find pieces that are cut to flatter who i am now and not who I was 40 years ago. Designers need to take note that there are many baby boomers who are not ready for flannel P.J.s and orithopedic shoes. Many designers and especially those with longevity are able to meet the challenges and needs of an aging population by providing clothing that is flattering and adds a little something -something when we put it on. Fashion should indeed be a celebration of life and knowing that feeling good at any age is what a successful designer is able to accomplish and the true measure of success. I appreciate designers for giving me choices that are affordable, flattering and celebrate life at any stage and at any age. *******************
