I am a middle aged person in my early 60's and I am not interested in trying to look half my age. I do like to find pieces that are cut to flatter who i am now and not who I was 40 years ago. Designers need to take note that there are many baby boomers who are not ready for flannel P.J.s and orithopedic shoes. Many designers and especially those with longevity are able to meet the challenges and needs of an aging population by providing clothing that is flattering and adds a little something -something when we put it on. Fashion should indeed be a celebration of life and knowing that feeling good at any age is what a successful designer is able to accomplish and the true measure of success. I appreciate designers for giving me choices that are affordable, flattering and celebrate life at any stage and at any age. *******************
I own 8 Mantoni suits, so I consider myself a fan of the brand. These trousers are of an amazing quality but I did want to warn potential buyers that unlike 99% of trousers for sale in the world, these do not provide enough excess material in the waist and seat to adjust out by 2 inches. This is pretty standard with all producers but Mantoni must have been looking to cut costs here. These are a tight 34, so I will be gifting these.
I bought these pants for my husband. They look great on him. I couldn't be happier with the purchase and the craftmanship. They come infinishished at the hem, but makes it easy to make the pefect length. He usually wears a 38 inch waist and I bought theses in the 38. They fit him to the T...no room to grow though. All in all, great find, great price, great pants.
