I have been a 2XL size for nearly 40 years. I recently purchased a winter coat by Caterpillar and intentionally ordered it as a 3XL so as to allow layered dress and it worked out great. After reading reviews on this coat and believing the one about sizing more than the other one, I ordered this is a 4XL. It is a snug fit with just a shirt under it and I would not want it any smaller. A 5XL is available but I would have concerns that the arms might be too long as the 4XL is slightly long as is. The zipper pulls are quite cheap and don't hang well on the fake chest pockets (it does have real chest pockets as well, inside and out) and are very lightweight. The snaps are of a cheap quality material. The stitching seems quite nice as does the quilted lining. The leather seems of very good quality and is very uniform quality. The chest pockets inside the coat a quite nice and deep. The waist pockets are sufficient though they could be a little deeper for larger hands. All-in-all the jacket is a very nice buy if you get it a size or 2 larger than your normal size.
Very nice jacket. Great bargain. However took 2 orders for correct fitting size. Ended up ordering a 4xl in order to get the same measure able size as a former XL size jacket. Recommend anyone ordering look at the measurements & compare to sizes you wear.
Idk if I'm going colorblind but I ordered dark navy and the picture was navy and even the tag said navy but it looks blacc to me idk I mean I wanted both, but I'm not sure which one I even have smdh also my 4xl fits super wide and short
The jacket is definitely one of high quality and the price on this site is the lowest you will find for this jacket. The leather is simply beautiful and my wife loves how it looks on me/I'm always receiving compliments on the appearance of it. Definitely get one size up from your normal jacket/coat size. A 4XL is equivalent to a 50/52 suit size. I'm 6'1 and 225, and the 4XL is a GREAT fit.
