Well, all I can say is considering the price, I am VERY pleased with my purchase. I also ordered a western belt supposedly made by 'Ariat' from Overstock, which was misrepresented online by Marketplace seller: Stand Up Ranchers ~ be careful purchasing from them! I was shocked at the so-called Ariat belt which looked like a Chinese knock-off & was so horrible it had to be sent back! This G-Bar-D Western belt, however, IS as advertised: "Top Grain Leather.' The G-Bar belt is good quality and has an attractive masculine design. It isn't a super high-end western belt which costs a couple hundred $$, but for the lower price, you get good value for your money.
The only problem I have and why I don't rate it a 5 is the locking bar sticks. This makes it difficult to release the belt but this do not happen all the time. I will but another belt when I need one.
I went with the company's suggested waist length and it was way off. I had to cut off like half the belt pry the metal end piece off clap it onto t he cut end. I should have just returned the 2 I bought, thought this was gonna be easy to do, it wasn't. The belt itself is nice and tightens well, other than it gets caught on the metal piece I clamped back on. Seriously it wrapped around me twice. Go less than what the chart says. If you get the right size it should be rated a 5 star
