The Larry Levine Women's long Down-filled hooded Coat is beautiful and just what I was personally looking for. It's not "heavy" in weight to wear. Just long to keep the legs warm, if you are layered it's not heavy and has adjustable back strap which you can size up or down. My only disappointment is the hood. It is very large but, I wanted a coat to fit my needs and decided to keep it. So far, it's not a disappointment.

I purchased the Larry Levine Women's Long Down-filled Hooded Coat for myself & couldn't be happier with my purchase. It's warm, comfortable and washes up nicely! I was leary about throwing it in the washing machine but it came out beautifully!

Before purchasing this coat, I, sure, read reviews, which clearly stated that down filling comes out. However, I could not believe that such a nice coat may have negative reviews. Well, when it was worn for the first time, I realized that if something looks nice, it is not necessarily has a good quality. Total disappointment. I didn't return it because had a hope that after being worn for a few times, all "an extra" down will come out, and the rest is going to stay "inside". It was another mistake. It is not possible to wear the coat to work or any other outing because it takes a great chunk of time and efforts to scrub whatever you wear under to get rid of at least of some down lint. The hood is oversized and its style and faux fox trim don't go with the rest of the coat at all.

This coat is so warm and stylish, and the faux fur detachable hood and fleece lined pockets are a great touch. And I love the color (steel)...I can wear it with just about anything. I have gotten so many compliments on it, too. My mother doesn't like puffy coats, but she actually said she would get this one.

This is a nice coat. I ended up sending it back because it was a little too big, I would probably need a medium (5'8", 150lb). I wanted the fur to be detachable but the entire hood is, not just the fur. I like the coat enough I might repurchase in the correct size.
