  • impossible to put it on!

The nice soft cotton top is attached to a non-stretchy polyester middle part. Because there is absolutely no stretch in the middle, putting this thing on becomes a challenge. I am athletic and have muscular shoulders and I could not get this top past my neck! It could fit me perfectly if there was an opening or a more elastic fabric.

I had to return it because it was too small and it didn't stretch.

I have been looking and looking for a shapewear cami that has a t-shirt/jersey type bra material attached to the stretchy shapewear material that helps for tummy control. Had a hard time finding anything. My original shapewear, believe it or not, I had purchased at Walmart a long time ago (George brand). They don't carry it anymore - or at least I can't find it anywhere. I love the bra area that has a t shirt type material so that "the girls" aren't squished - and thereby causing you to look smaller in the bust than you are. That's not my issue! I want tummy control, but want "the girls" to shine! So, I found these shapewear camis on Overstock and saw that they had the t shirt top! Great! Not knowing how they would fit, I ordered two medium and two large. I am not a petite woman, but I am not a large woman. I'm about a size 10 or 12 in clothes. When the shapewear arrived, the mediums were so small I couldn't even get them over my head practically! The larges worked, but just barely. I probably should have ordered an extra large. Based on other shapewear that I've bought at stores, a large is typically very sufficient...sometimes a medium. So, if you buy this product, they really work and are great, but order larger than you think you need. I would say a person who wears a size 4 or 6 could wear a medium. A person who wears an 8 or 10 could wear a large. I'm about a 12 and like I said the large just barely works.... Great product though with the t shirt bra top.

I like the color, but it rolls up. Maybe I should have ordered a larger size. I will order this product, again.

  • tight like it describes

i read the only other review written, so to be fair, i had to write one from the opposing side. i like this top, and, no harm meant, but if you dont have rolls, this will certainly not give you any. yes, i am thin, and the stretchy part was a little tight going over your head and shoulders, but all my other types like this are also. and once it goes over, it fits fine, does not roll, and it certainly does not look like a back brace on. maybe people who have more meat on them should think about going up a size. i did however, think i was getting two instead of just the one for the price. other than that, i like it and am wearing it as i type, so i find it very comfortable and true to size.

The control portion is completely 'non stretchy'. Meaning you cant even get it over your chest to get it on. However after nearly 10 minutes of trying to put the thing on - I finally did and it just created rolls where there werent any before. I bought this to wear under more snug fitting sweaters for a 'smoothing' effect. I am normally a size 10 and I ordered a large. It made me look bigger and have fat rolls that I dont even have. The chest and bottom portion are very sheer cotton that stretches too much and it looks very obvious where 'control' portion starts and stops. Basically looks like your wearing a back brace....
