I had to have steel toe shoes/boots for work. I bought both. I have poor circulation in my feet and wanted to be comfortable for summer and winter. I love my boots and I hate these shoes. I wasn't sure how to buy a man's size shoe. I also was not sure of the width of men's shoes. I normally wear a ladies 8M. But I wanted to have room in my shoes and boots for my heavier socks. In these shoes, I originally ordered a 7M in men's. Very tight width and length. (Mind you they say between a man and woman's sizing to go 1 1-2 to 2 sizes in difference). I only went 1 size different. But as I said, very tight. I went up 1-2 size and went to a wide width. They fit much nicer. So be careful if you are a woman trying to buy a man's shoe. I only ended up going down a 1-2 size and going wider. I feel the end of the steel in the shoe. This makes them uncomfortable and I thought being from New Balance that there would be much better comfort. Yea, not so much. On a side note, I was also upset that the original pair was purchased during one of their sales. Needing to do the exchange, I lost the sale price, plus had to pay return shipping, etc.. I will think twice about ordering something that I may be unsure about from Overstock. Hazzle if it is not exactly what is needed.

The shoe is of good quality but it is difficult to break in. I expected and received blisters on my heels the first week I wore the shoes. But the shoes are very rigid on the sole of the foot. The shoe came with a removable cushion insert which was insufficient to keep my forefoot and toes from blistering. So I added a Dr.Scholl's thin foam cushion insert. This helped stop the rubbing/blistering on my forefoot, but the forefoot area of the shoe is still quite rigid and I still keep getting blisters on the plantar surface of my toes. I have been using these for nearly a month; hoping this gets better by next month. One additional complaint: I like New Balance shoes because they are comfortable, you can buy them in normal colors (as opposed to so many goofy-looking shoes with mutliple flourescent colors mixed in), and they are made in America. Unfortunately, these Dunham by New Balance shoes are made in China. I was very disappointed to learn that.

I purchased these shoes as gift for my father. He loved the look and design. However, they were too small. He had no roo in the shoes.

Received these shoes promptly in excellent condition (new). My son-in-law works on his feet 12 hrs a day and says his feet hardly get tired. Thanks for the service and being there when needed. OH I forgot, the price was outstanding for the quality.
