My husband has a 35 inch waist, but the description says it stretches at the waist. He likes the pants but we have to return the 34" and the 36" is too big. Most unfortunate!
I loved my gray pair of Mantoni Flat-front dress pants so much that I also purchased another pair in Navy Blue. I didn't question the fact that sizing might be different between the two and went ahead and had the pants hemmed. It was only after I got them home did I realize that these pants were uncomfortably tight around the waist. They are much more like a 32" waist or possibly a 33", but definitely too tight for the 34" waistline. I still like the pants but I can't wear them. I suggest going a size larger and trying them on before tailoring.
The fabric hangs well and feels very nice to the touch. I especially like the front closure system, a button on the inside left side to hold it closed and a two button system with the flap for the far button sitting over the flap for the first button, concealing it. It feels much more secure than the old metal slider system on just about every other pair of pants I own. The material is a little thin but not overly so and that aids in making it feel nice and soft. I also bought a super 150 poly/viscose blend and the two feel almost identical in touch. My only slight beef - I wish it had a higher rise. I have a long torso and the waist is about an inch or two shorter (lower) than I would like. By no means are they hipsters but I prefer my pants to ride a bit higher. I would buy again in a flash, however.
We had a hard time finding truly white dress pants for my husband at a reasonable price. The department stores were full of bone colored pants but those were not what we needed. When we did find white pants they were either drawstring/linen style or they cost two to three times more. The quality of these pants is good and they fit exactly as expected. My husband wears a 33 to 34 waist in jeans, but his dress pants are usually a 36. These pants were a true fit in the 36. They're a little see-through as white tends to be, so men will want to wear underclothing accordingly. The only other thing to note (as others have stated) is that the pant legs are unhemmed. We were originally planning to use the steam set hemming tape and do it ourselves but took the pants to the alterations place at our dry cleaners and were able to get them hemmed for ***. Another bonus is that they do not actually have to be dry-cleaned; They come with washing machine blessings. The pants were well worth the investment and still a good deal cheaper even including the alterations than the other pants we had found. It also does not hurt that the shipping was speedy; We had them just a few days after placing the order. I would definitely buy them again and would look at purchasing in other colors as the need for more dress pants arises.
