This jacket reminded me of the old style boiled wool jackets so I just had to have it - I wanted something that wouldn't be a problem in rain and this fit the bill. I love the embroidered detail -
I'm starting a new job in 2 weeks so I ordered 4 of these in navy, black, white and coral. After reading all the reviews that said these blazers are tight and run small, I sized up and got them all in XL. I'm 5'3", weigh 140-145 lbs, have a standard 36B chest and normally wear a size 8, sometimes a 10 depending on brand and fit (for petites I'm usually a 10P). For t-shirts, I normally buy size L because I have wider shoulders and to allow for shrinkage (especially if it's cotton). I have to say that these blazers were just too big; I think a large would have been a perfect fit and I'm tempted to re-order because they are just that cute and will go with sooo many outfits. My issue is with the quality though. These blazers were a polyester jersey knit...a very thin polyester jersey knit so there was no structure to them. I mean these blazers were thin, I could even see thru them; almost like a t-shirt material that's how thin they were. That's not a bad thing when it's the middle of summer and you just need something light but professional to wear over a tank top for work; in fact they're perfect for that which is why I got them. The stitching definitely was not the best quality however - especially the coral one (which in my opinion was the prettiest!); the front seams were all jacked up and made the bottom front of the jacket look weird on me. Oh, and the button is plastic painted gold. Bottom line - these are adorable knit blazers perfect for summer but NOT at the current price. If I saw these in the store, I'd wait til they go on clearance; I wouldn't pay more than $15 for them. They're cute, but not $30 cute.
