I was looking for a comfortable shoes that would allow for the supports I need to insert into the shoes, as well as be attractive and feel stable. These shoes fit the cause. They resemble pervious athletic shoes I've had, but can no longer wear because of balance and stability problems, plus the need for wide shoes to accommodate my inserts. I feel comfortable wearing them to all casual outings and at home.
I have a minor back problem and these shoes take the shock out of walking. I have been wearing them every day for about three weeks. Because they cushion your steps, they take about 5 minutes to get used to as we are all used to no cushioning when we walk. I would say that when you measure your foot with the print-out chart, be sure that you tape the two halves of the chart carefully along the lines and wear the socks that you will use with the shoes when measuring- especially if they are athletic socks, which are thicker than regular ones. I ordered my shoes a half size larger than the chart said and wide because of the socks. They fit fine. Everyones feet will be a bit different, so just use common sense when measuring. I love them--MB
